I have been hand-writing notes since I can remember as our family believed in the old-fashioned thank you note after each birthday and holiday. We were taught how to draft a note, make it personal, and write it legibly from early on!
This skill being so ingrained in me, I took to personal-letter writing again through various jobs in high school and college. Every time I sat down to draft a card or letter, I found it both fulfilling and impactful. Some of my own letter-campaigns have been to retain and build sponsorships, to thank mission-partners, and to connect with students I have mentored through campus ministry work.
My handwriting habit took on new meaning during COVID. In the long days of lockdown, I wrote to family and friends to connect in a way that I couldn’t online. These letters each taught me how unforgettable a personal touch really is.
And so, The Personal Touch was born — creating thoughtful, handwritten notes that help brighten someone’s day. In a world that so often relies on texts, emails, and AI, I hope you’ll find this personal service a refreshing and meaningful way to connect.
